Mariel Shilling

Program Assistant

Mariel is originally from Silver Spring, Maryland and has a bachelor’s degree in international studies and Spanish from Washington College. She studied abroad in Peru, taught in Tanzania, volunteered in Honduras and completed research projects in Turkey and Thailand. After graduating, she taught in Hong Kong and Spain before moving back to the D.C. area. Mariel’s personal travels have taken her to over 29 countries. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling and trying new food. Mariel is excited to be a part of the ISEP team and to work with students as they apply to study abroad with ISEP.
