ISEP is Monitoring the Situation in Europe

March 10, 2022

We are currently monitoring the situation in Ukraine and the potential impact it may have in Europe. Our hearts are with the people of Ukraine and all those impacted. At this time there are no elevated U.S. State Department travel advisories any ISEP program locations. We have also consulted our global security partners, including OSAC and On Call International, and there are no current indications of an immediate security threat in these locations. All ISEP programs in Europe are operating normally.

At this time, all Fall and Academic Year 2022 programs are scheduled to run as planned. ISEP and our member universities will continue to monitor the situation and keep students updated if anything changes.

In the unlikely event that a heightened travel advisory causes ISEP or a host university to suspend a program, or if a student’s home university prohibits them from participating before their program begins, the ISEP Promise protects them. We are committed to:

  • Offering students a placement in another suitable program,
  • Deferring students to a later semester in the same program OR
  • Refunding all fees paid to ISEP except for the non-refundable application fee and any non-recoverable costs if a student does not wish to accept an alternate placement
