17 ISEP Students Awarded Gilman International Scholarships

The Spring 2017 Gilman International Scholarship recipients have been announced. Next semester 17 U.S. students will go abroad through ISEP with the help of the scholarship funding. These students hail from 14 different home institutions and will be studying at 13 different host institutions across 12 different countries. Thank you to all our ISEP Outgoing Coordinators across the U.S. for the scholarship advising you provide to your students! The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship is funded by the U.S. Department of State and administered by the Institute of International Education. U.S. Pell Grant recipients are eligible to apply for the award that prioritizes students from diverse backgrounds studying around the world, but especially in non-traditional destinations.

Shriya Bhattacharya from Agnes Scott College will study at Vesalius College in Belgium.

Grayson Bodenheimer from Appalachian State University will study at the University of Helsinki in Finland.

Evelyn Cruz from Lake Forest College will study at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso in Chile.

Flor De Maria Garcia-Garza from Nebraska Wesleyan University will study at Al Akhawayn University in Morocco.

Danni Ha from the University of Tennessee Knoxville will study at the University of Johannesburg in South Africa.

Tiffany Harper from North Carolina A&T State University will study at the University of Ghana in Ghana.

Savannah Harper from Wichita State University will study at the Ulster University in the United Kingdom.

Farah Hatoum from Randolph-Macon College will study at Universidad de Almeria in Spain.

Victoria Hernandez from Pitzer College will study at Tilburg University in the Netherlands.

Alexis Horstman from South Dakota State University will study at the University of Helsinki in Finland.

Albrianna Jenkins from Maryville College will study at the Université de Caen in France.

Sujan Kim from Lake Forest College will study at Yonsei University in South Korea.

Hannah Massey from Arkansas State University, Jonesboro will study at the Ulster University in the United Kingdom.

Sydney Mcclure from Agnes Scott College will study at American University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates.

Daniel Solano from Lake Forest College will study at Vesalius College in Belgium.

Majhanae Thomas from Virginia State University will study at the University of Ghana in Ghana.

Melissa Tran from University of North Carolina Charlotte will study at Korea University in South Korea.
