ARLINGTON, VA – ISEP Study Abroad announced a new partnership with Global Experiences to provide internships around the world. The partnership was announced to ISEP members during the 2017 ISEP Conference: Advancing Inclusive Communities on October 19, 2017.
During the member focused conference, President and CEO of ISEP, John Lucas, Ph.D. announced the partnership which will expand the offering of internships for students from ISEP Member institutions.
Of the partnership, Lucas remarked: “We believe that our students benefit from immersive experiences when learning across cultures, both academically and through interning. Global Experiences has a proven record of working closely with students before, during and after their internship.”
In partnering with Global Experiences, students from ISEP Members across the U.S. and around the world will have access to affordable high-quality internship experiences in nine countries and 11 cities:
- Barcelona, Spain
- Dublin, Ireland
- Florence, Italy
- London, U.K.
- Milan, Italy
- New York City, U.S.
- Paris, France
- Shanghai, China
- Sydney, Australia
- Stockholm, Sweden
- Washington, D.C., U.S.
Lucas added, “Offering value to our member institutions is the best way we can help them serve students. By providing exclusive discounted fees for students from ISEP members, we’re working in partnership with Global Experiences to expand our mission of offering accessible and affordable international experiences to include internships.”
The partnership will ensure access for students to fit an internship into their academic calendar, providing opportunities during summer, fall and spring semesters. Internships are credit bearing through students’ home institutions or Fairfield University of Connecticut as the institution of record.
