Just like so many other college students I was a bit directionless when it came to my goals and pursuits entering college. Working through community college I luckily had the opportunity to transfer to my home university of San Jose State in California, U.S. With just one year left, I felt that there was something missing in my total college experience. I soon found the perfect abroad program for me and the rest was history. I will be attending Toyo University in Tokyo, Japan and hope to write about the abroad experience, as well as highlighting unique individuals in photo essays.
