Alexandra works with ISEP members to realize their internationalization goals and ensure access to opportunities for meaningful academic and cultural exchange. She is responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction for ISEP’s engagement in her region, including relationships with institutions, governments, and key industry associations. Alexandra is also ISEP’s Director of Health, Safety & Risk Management. She serves as Chair of the ISEP Health, Safety & Emergency Task Force, works closely with executive leadership on policy development and compliance, and oversees crisis management for the organization. Alexandra joined ISEP in June 2017 after more than a decade working in the field of international education. Her early experiences studying abroad in Spain, including a year abroad at the Universidad de Málaga, were key to inspiring her career in international education. Her love of travel has landed her in over twenty countries around the world, and immediately prior to ISEP she spent several years living and working in Costa Rica and the Turks and Caicos Islands, where she managed student affairs and provided oversight of onsite health, safety, and risk management for study abroad programs in remote field stations. In her free time Alexandra enjoys exploring new cities, baking and scuba diving.
