University Relations Manager | Members located in Latin America, Canada, Southern Europe, Middle East & North Africa
In her role as University Relations Manager for ISEP members in the Americas (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Mexico, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, Uruguay) and Southern Europe (Belgium, France, Greece, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Spain, Turkey), & The Middle East and North Africa (Morocco, Lebanon, U.A.E.) Alexandra serves as the main point of contact for ISEP coordinators at all member universities in her region. She works closely with coordinators to promote mobility, develop new programs and facilitate strategic initiatives, manage exchange numbers, and uphold membership standards. Alexandra’s early experiences studying abroad in Spain, including a summer in Almería during high school and a junior year abroad at the Universidad de Málaga while earning her undergraduate degree in Spanish languages and literature from Dickinson College were key to inspiring her career in international education. Alexandra joined ISEP in June 2017 after spending several years living and working in Costa Rica and the Turks and Caicos, where she managed groups of university students studying abroad at remote field stations. She is thrilled to work at ISEP, engaging with members and students to facilitate meaningful international exchange. Alexandra has also led high school summer programs to Spain, worked as a middle school Spanish teacher in the US, and taught English in both Thailand and Spain. Alexandra is an avid bookworm, beach goer and cat fancier, and her love of travel and intercultural experiences has taken her to over 20 countries. Outside of work she can be found reading in a local coffee shop, trying new recipes or out exploring DC.
