Bruk Ayele

Member Relations Intern

Bruk joined ISEP as Member Relations Intern in November 2019. Originally from Ethiopia, Bruk came to the U.S. nine years ago and settled in Virginia where he went to Community College and earned two Associate Degrees in Paralegal and General Studies. Bruk got his degree in Bachelor of Individualized Studies in Global Affairs and Intelligence Analysis in spring 2019. He is also an Arlington Fellow (a George Mason University Global Politics Fellow program) during which he interned at Association for Diplomatic Studies and Training, a State Department affiliate organization established by former diplomats. Bruk also served as Records Intern at Dykema PLLC, a law firm in D.C. in the Summer of 2016 and 2017. Bruk enjoys Italian food and critiquing movies. He follows European soccer, especially Premier League and Champions League. He is crazy about Liverpool FC. Bruks favorite sitcom is the Big Bang Theory and was sad that the show came to an end. Bruk enjoys spending time going to parks and reading out in the open. Bruk is excited to join the ISEP team and is eager to learn a lot about the organization as well as make a meaningful contribution during his stay here.
