I am your average political science student stumbling towards enlightenment. I hail from Nebraska Wesleyan University and currently attend La Universidad Casa Grande in Guayaquil, Ecuador for the semester. I am a 2016-2017 Gilman Scholar and a first-generation college student. I have a soft spot for indigenous politics and think that important public discourse still happens in coffee shops. From the country’s vast landscapes to diverse peoples, Ecuador is the place to be. Ama la vida.
