Growing up in Kansas, I was often the only person of color in my classes or activities. This fostered an environment in which I was drawn to discovering and learning about other cultures and embracing my own. I have always known that it was a goal of mine to see all of the different types of people in the world. I am starting this journey in Milan, Italy. I hope to gain different perspectives and grow richer in experience and culture. I am the most excited about being in such a large, influential city.
