Kiara is originally from Miami, Florida. She received her bachelor’s degree in international studies from Spelman College. While at Spelman, Kiara chose to spend a semester abroad in Morocco which provided a transformative learning experience. Kiara is currently obtaining her master's degree at American University in international and intercultural communication. During her free time, Kiara enjoys reading, attending concerts and binge-watching television shows. She is a firm believer in the power of positive thinking.
