Spend Your Summer in Italy

October 29, 2021

Dreaming of the warm Mediterranean sun, weekends spend exploring the Cinque Terre, mouth-watering gelato, and fresh espresso each morning? It’s time to head to Italy!

With ISEP, you can spend two, four, or six weeks in Italy, taking coursework towards your degree and enjoying the Italian lifestyle. With our partner the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Italy’s premier private university, we offer two locations and a range of disciplines to fit your needs.

Summer in Milan - Fashion, Marketing & International Relations

Youthful, fashionable, and energetic, Milan is Northern Italy’s cultural hub and the second largest city in Italy. On this program, you can study business, international relations, journalism, or communication in English for 2, 4, or 6 weeks at Cattolica’s main campus in Milan. Known as one of the world’s top destinations for cutting-edge fashion, Milan is THE place to study for students interested in a career in fashion marketing, branding, or public relations. For those less inclined to study the latest trends, Milan is also an important hub for business and international relations, and the city places equal importance on quality of life and hard work. A quick train ride can get you to Tuscany, Lake Como, the Dolomites, or the Cinque Terre, or venture out a bit further to Switzerland and France!

Summer in Rome - Public Health

Invigorating and bustling, Rome offers a delightful mix of new, old, and ancient, and makes the perfect base to experience Italian culture. For two or four weeks, make Italy’s largest city your home. You’ll take coursework in public health and epidemiology from the Italian perspective taught by faculty from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, which operates the best hospital in Italy and one of the best hospitals in the world, Agostino Gemelli University Hospital. Italy’s healthcare system is a nationalized system with universal coverage, and offers an opportunity to compare care and public health with different systems. After class, you’ll be able to explore Rome like a local, finding your favorite markets, monuments, fountains, and gelato shops.

Want to mix and match classes and locations? It’s possible! Just let your student service officer know which weeks you want to spend in which destination, and classes you’d like to take! Only specific subjects are offered on each campus, so just be sure that the course you want is offered in your chosen city.

A presto! We hope to see you in Italy soon!
