Hi! My name is Anna Nguyen and I am currently a junior at Virginia Tech studying Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise (HNFE) with minors in Event Management & Theatre Arts! I’ll be studying abroad in the United Kingdom at the University of Essex for Spring 2023! I love traveling, learning new things, and making new friends, so I’m excited to share my journey with you!

Hey! I’m Brigid, a junior at Virginia Tech. This spring, I will be living in Barcelona, Spain and taking neuroscience and Spanish courses at Universitat Pompeu Fabra. After walking the Camino de Santiago and taking classes for a study abroad in Spain this past summer, I had to come back for a full semester! I’m super excited to share my experiences with you all as I learn, explore, and meet new people!

Hello I am Dasiyah Franklin-Carter! I was a digital ambassador for fall 22 and I am beyond thrilled to be a digital ambassador for spring 23 as well! I am a 3rd year student at Hamline University in Minneapolis Minnesota. I am studying aboard at UDEM in Monterrey, Nuevo León Mexico. I study Spanish & Anthropology with a minor in linguistics. I have so many amazing plans for next semester and I cannot wait to bring you all along with me while I travel all throughout Mexico and the neighboring countries! You won’t want miss it!

Hello, my name is Olivia Effa, but I go by Kaami. My home institution in the US is McDaniel College, and my host institution abroad is Ewha Womans University in Seoul, South Korea. I am a political science major, with a specialization in international studies, and a philosophy minor. I love trying out new things and traveling in general, so I am incredibly excited to explore South Korea and share my experiences with others!
