The American College of Thessaloniki in Greece Joins ISEP as a New ISEP Direct Member

Arlington, VA — The American College of Thessaloniki (ACT) located in Thessaloniki, Greece, has officially become an ISEP Direct host member institution and expects it first cohort of students beginning Spring (January-June) 2019.

For the student seeking a unique study abroad site in Greece, the American College of Thessaloniki is ideal. A city with over 2,000 years of continuous history rich in culture, diverse and youthful, Thessaloniki is Greece’s second largest city and sits at the crossroads of east and west and the gateway to Southeastern Europe.

ACT is the tertiary division of Anatolia College, a private not-for-profit educational institution founded in 1886 that provides high quality education to young people from Pre-K through to Master’s programs. ACT has long been a bridge connecting America to Greece and South East Europe, and in inspiration, mission, governance and programs, ACT resembles the traditional New England colleges upon which it has been modeled.

ACT is one of the few institutions outside the United States with full, free-standing U.S. accreditation by NEASC and EU validation of its undergraduate programs. ACT has also been granted a license by the Greek government to operate as a private post-secondary educational institution (“College”).

Students can choose from a wide range of courses in English, including the fields of Business, International Relations, Hellenic Studies, English Language and Literature, Communications & New Media Studies and Computing.
