Hello world! I am a Latina from Virginia Commonwealth University studying abroad at the American University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates! I am double majoring in criminal justice and finance with a minor in statistics. The main reason I wanted to study in the Middle East was because I wanted to explore a world that not many people understood. I also want to learn Arabic as a third language and I am eager to learn what life is like from the Emirati perspective.
