I’m a homebody turned 'intrepid explorer' (my granddad’s words) currently studying at the University of Regina in Saskatchewan, Canada. My home university is the University of Roehampton in the United Kingdom. This occasionally gets confusing when people email me regarding 'UR.' I’m excited to learn about the people of Regina - their interests, concerns, hobbies – and to what extent these things are affected by their country and province. I’ve always been drawn to people watching more than sightseeing, although here I plan to do both.

Extroverts, who are typically more outgoing and open to new experiences, seem better equipped for an experience centered around new people and places.

When I first arrived, locals would often ask me "So why did you choose to come to Regina in January?!" (Saskatchewan weather is arguably the harshest in Canada).
