Student Advisor | Africa, Belgium, France, The Netherlands, Northern Europe, & The Middle East
Joey is excited to be a part of the ISEP’s Enrollment Management team, he’ll be advising students heading to Africa, Belgium, France, The Netherlands, Northern Europe, & The Middle East. A Baltimore, Maryland native, Joey received a double-degree in International Languages & Cultures: French and English Literature from St. Mary’s College of Maryland. Fascinated by opportunities that expose philosophies of language, culture, and food (the most important, let’s be real), he participated in a linguistic research field school in the Federated States of Micronesia as well as a study abroad semester in Montpellier, France. A proud proponent of inclusion and diversity efforts, Joey lead initiatives on LGBTQ inclusion and student engagement while at St. Mary’s. Professionally, Joey has coordinated events for young adults with cancer and assisted with programs that promote democracy in Mali. Outside of work, you can find Joey shoo-bopping as a vocalist in his jazz group, creating far-too elaborate vegetarian meals, or getting literally anywhere (and getting lost) on his bicycle.
