Joey is excited to serve as ISEP Student Services Coordinator. In this role, Joey is the primary point of contact for students regarding academic, personal, cultural, visa or logistical matters during pre-departure and while on-program. Additionally, he actively participates on both the Diversity & Inclusion and Health & Safety Taskforces at ISEP, and responds to individual student emergencies in these designated regions. A Baltimore, Maryland native, Joey received a double-degree in International Languages & Cultures: French and English Literature from St. Mary’s College of Maryland. Working in a variety of environments in both the US and abroad, he has taught English in Montpellier, France, worked on development projects in Mali and researched endangered languages in the Federated States of Micronesia. Outside of work, you can find Joey jamming at a local open mic, trying to learn a new language or exploring the streets on his bike.
