Tips for Finding a Study Abroad Program You Can Afford

  • Determine how much you pay to attend your institution right now. Include costs like housing, meals, transportation, entertainment, administrative fees, and tuition.
  • Consider choosing a study abroad program that costs about what you pay for school now. Here are some of ISEP’s most affordable programs!
  • Create a budget (or budgets) for the study abroad program(s) you are considering.
  • Identify how much more funding you will need (the difference between how much you pay now and how much studying abroad will).
  • Determine what sources you will use for additional funding and the timeline you have to earn or source that funding. Pick a program that fits within your realistic budget.
