ISEP Direct Priority Deadlines

ISEP Direct program deadlines vary, but they typically fall a full semester before the period when you’d like to go abroad. See individual program pages for exact deadlines. We recommend working with your home ISEP Coordinator to see when to apply.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who do I contact if I have a question about the status of my application?

The primary contact for any ISEP program is your home ISEP Coordinator. All information and status reports are sent electronically to your coordinator. You can also reach out to your Student Services Officer for assistance. Their information is located at the bottom of your ISEP Dashboard.

How long until I know if I’m accepted?

ISEP staff does not begin reviewing applications for a program until after the priority deadline has passed. You should receive your placement results within 1-2 weeks after the priority deadline or submission of your application. Sometimes the enrollment process takes longer because of specific issues or because the host institution needs additional time to review your application. For details, read about the placement process.

How many ISEP Direct programs should I include on my Program List?

It is not necessary to list more than one ISEP Direct program in your application. As long as you are eligible for your #1 program of choice, you are guaranteed to be placed there. You will only receive one placement from ISEP if you choose to add additional ISEP Direct programs on your list.
